This glass pendant is handmade out of borosilicate glass. The feather is shaped in the flame and then cooled. Next I carve in the details by hand. I slowly warm the pendant back up and lightly heat all of the carved details in the flame to fire polish them without losing the detail. This leaves the surface shiny but textured. Finally, I fit the fine silver core (pressed in, not glued) and coil some sterling silver wire around the neck to add a little flare. It comes on a 20 inch sterling silver chain.
